Clubs
Throughout the year, we offer a range of clubs and opportunities for extra-curricular activities for all year groups. These clubs are tailored towards focusing on health and mental wellbeing. The following after school clubs are offered during year:

Sports Competitions
In addition, we regularly take part in the 'Move More' events and competitions in the Tewkesbury and Cheltenham area and also county wide School Games events. Our children enjoy participating in Cross Country, Netball, Athletics, Tag Rugby, Football, Rounders, Cricket, Orienteering, Archery, Swimming, Tennis and Dance. Results are collated by district or across Gloucestershire to enable schools to compete against each other.
Outdoor and Adventurous Education
At Twyning School, we are incredibly fortunate to have a wealth of natural resources literally on our doorstep! We have the beautiful river; our village green, the local farms and nature reserves. During the school year, we pride ourselves on being able to offer a multitude of opportunities for children to explore the countryside and experience new activities. We believe that these regular opportunities not only enhance our curriculum but also provide vital life skills, develop resillience, team work, and enhance their health and wellbeing. For example, our children participate in hill walking, canoeing, Team building and topic-related trips and excursions.
