Classes
At Twyning School. we currently have 5 mixed age classes. Our Classes are: Rabbits, Squirrels, Foxes, Hedgehogs and Owls. Historically, our PAN (Pupil Allocation Number) has always been fixed at 15 which means every year, no more than 15 new Reception children start with us. We are now moving towards a PAN of 20 which allows us to have 5 classes instead of 4. The structure is then based upon these numbers so that our classes comprise of the following year groups:
Rabbits - Reception
Squirrels - Year 1 and Year 2
Foxes - Year 2 and Year 3
Hedgehogs - Year 4 and Year 5
Owls - Year 6
